as of 11pm and with nearly 100% of the precincts reporting looks like Jane Kim's going to win.
All she had to do was come in the top 3 but she's going to win out-right.

Way to go Jane! I couldn't vote for her since I don't live in SF anymore but I'm so happy for her. I know she'll do an amazing job as a member of the SF School board.

I believe she might be the very first Korean-American to become an elected official in the city/county of San Francisco.

Also, looks like Hydra Mendoza is going to come in second place and will also join the school board. According to FlipJive she'll be the Filipino-American woman on the SF school board.

It's been a historical night, nationally, with the shift in power in the House of Representatives going to the Dems and with Nancy Pelosi becoming the first woman as the speaker of the house.
