Holiday spirit...

I was on the bus home from work. Usually, I'm tired and cranky because I have to take the MUNI underground then walk two blocks to the Transbay station to get on the AC Transbay bus. I was dozing off... bay bridge traffic wasn't too bad and soon we were near the 580-24 junction when the bus pulled over and stopped! I was half-awake and I figured we were stopping due to heavy traffic when all of sudden I realized that the doors opened and people started to get on. Turns out the same line - but earlier - broke down on the freeway and our bus driver decided to stop and pick them up. Normally we wouldn't be able to fit everyone in but this week being a holiday week and all we barely managed to fit everyone on the bus.

The bus was packed with but the overall spirit was festive... I have no idea if bus drivers are suppose to do that but I thought it was a great gesture.
